I love fragrances - they are so personal and can always instantly lift a mood. I also sometimes associate fragrances to certain memories. For example, my @tomfordbeauty Jasmin Rouge takes me back to my wedding day as it was the fragrance that I wore on this special day. @lelabofragrances Tuberuse 40 reminds me of the hustle and bustle and New York City and the adventures that I had with @theskinstudy girls when we caught up. My @diptyque Opone reminds me of when my best friend got married in Hong Kong as it it was the scent that I purchased on that trip.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are some fragrances aren’t even featured here because I may have grown out of them or they were a signature scent of someone I love. Do you spot any faves? @glossier @welovecoco. I just finished taking my exam and now I’m so ready to unwind! Before I do I want to talk to you guys about your prefer method of makeup application. Now, I usually apply my makeup using numerous tools like brushes and beauty sponges. However, lately I been experimenting with only using my fingers to blend and deposit pigment. At first it was a little difficult, but with practice I started to get the hang of it. I’m now actually really enjoying the finish look, and one thing that I really enjoy is the process. Idk if this is weird but I almost feel more “artistic” when I apply my makeup with just my hands. It makes me feel more connected to my makeup routine. I think since I’m getting to feel and experience different textures, learning more about the contours of my face, and well idk there is just something different about it. Different in a good way. Using only my hands is allowing me to go back to basics, which helps me connect with my makeup products in a new way. I’m throughly enjoying it. Do you ever experiment with how you apply your makeup? Or do you like using a bunch of different techniques/tools when it’s time to get ready. Let me know :).
