Yesterday Zazu and Walle went on a bike ride with Daddy ‍♂️and unfortunately Zazu cut his paws on something and one of his paw pad cut open and was hanging by a flap Walle saw us cleaning and putting ointment on Zazu’s paw and he thought he was next so he kept running away. I think he knows Zazu is hurt, he isn’t leaving his side ❤️

SOS! Immediate foster needed! Our petite resident senior gal, Eleanor, is looking for a forever home to snuggle and play! She is a tiny 11 year old female who was held at the shelter for several months as evidence for an animal cruelty court case. She luckily didn’t have any signs of physical abuse, and was released after the case was closed months later. However, her only chance of getting out alive was if a rescue organization stepped in to save her - so WE DID! ♥️ A shelter is no place for a senior (or any animal), especially to have their last moments of life. Eleanor is healthy, peppy, and so happy to be enjoying the life she deserves outside of the shelter with her foster mom, but she is unfortunately losing her foster home tonight and needs a forever family (or another temporary foster ASAP)! She loves to walk, play with toys, and snuggle. She has so much energy still, we’re not entirely convinced of her age. well, I never.. a few days ago, on the advice of our vet, Mom was forced to cut me... the thing is that I have a narrowing of the trachea in two places and it's very difficult for me to breathe. and I can't do trachea surgery bcs of my age. we have a very hot Summer now and I gasped and even lost consciousness several times due to lack of oxygen... also I have a double undercoat, it happens very rarely but I am "lucky" in that.
