Been sharing the BTS of our home. Showing the good and bad. We lived awhile with our cute small galley kitchen (now our chaotic laundry room) before we saved up to remodel our current kitchen. We have budgets like everyone else and really mindful of our spending (most of our appliances are purchased second hand and Brian did all the demo work). While I love a pretty styled photo, I don’t want anyone to be discouraged by them. Pretty photos are inspirational but explaining/sharing the progress is educational. Both are great. Also, none of us need validation or likes from others to appreciate our own house journey or any journey for that matter.

With all the wall space we have I definitely think we could have gone larger, but I wanted to keep in proportion to our nightstands. Feeling the urge to buy more plants . I move my pots around quite a bit until I find the perfect, happy spot for them. Now my window shelf is looking a little bare. And that’s a shame. ‍♀️
