Three years ago exactly, I had the pleasure of being a co-creatrix and co-priestess of the powerful & beloved annual Red Tent at the Where Womyn Gather festival in upstate PA. This festival was one I had been wanting to go to for literally almost 30 years (it’s first year was 1988) when it used to be Womongathering- and to finally arrive participating as a priestess of this sacred space is an experience I will forever treasure. I’ve created some incredible Red Tents in my time, but whoa! The process to turn an entire camp bunk house into this potent and sacred temple took the better part of a week, and involved lots of work made joyful by singing sisters. Not an inch was left to remind one of what this space was before (and this is only one shot about halfway in). Pure magick. I am deeply grateful I had the chance to serve my sisters, with my sisters, in this very special Red Tent. ❤️❤️❤️

The more I question and actively work on my shadow, the more I grow. . The more I grow, the more I know what I’m capable of. . The more I know what I’m capable of, the more value I give to myself and others. . The more value I have the more I know & feel my purpose. . The more I know my purpose, the more I question. . Never stop questioning. Everyone has differing belief systems, but the more we question ourselves, the more we can discern whether to bust those down or keep them. Abso-fuckin-lutely... . Anyone who knows me knows that I’m an insanely positive and grateful person, but I am not scared to go there. To throw shit (only when I’ve suppressed too much), to cry in public, to get really really messy and feel it. . I learned that in suppressing this part of me I became anxious and powerless. . The power is allowing those shadows to rise and being fucking cool with them being there. We are light and dark, we are polarity. How can we be Good Vibes only? Take it from me, a person that has worked through and successfully working through an anxiety disorder without medication (I do have oils though) - you need to visit this shit and as uncomfortable as it is at the beginning to just face it, believe me it is much much easier the more you practice it.
