When we interact with others, we need to stop being self centred, and instead be humble and think about how we can serve others in love. It's only from knowing how much we are loved and valued by the Lord, that we can serve others around us in love, and love one another with a pure and sacrificial love that comes from God, for God is love. We would live our lives so differently if we allow the Lord to love us, as we are, open up our hearts to the perfect and unconditional love of God, and then allow God's love to flow through us, to those around us. We are here to serve one another in love, a love that's selfless and pure, without being self-seeking. Rather than being restrictive, this would be actually incredibly liberating to live like this. Putting others before ourselves, and being able to rest in the Lord's perfect love for us, His children, and serve each other in love.
