Here in Catalonia, this tomato is called Montserrat tomato, it reminds us of our Montserrat mountains. A variety are full and other hollow, it is a tomato of low production and for us to be able to eat it is a luxury. This is the first

These are my absolute new favourite tomatoes! They are rather confused, they look like beautiful red strawberries without the seeds . These gorgeous toms are a variety called Tomatoberry, beautifully sweet and juicy. They are 100% on my list for next year! #tomatoes #tomato #growfromseed #tomatoberry #organic #healthy #organiclife #sustainable #love #strawberry #kitchengarden #garden #gardening #gardener #healthylife #gardeninspiration #gardentips #vegetablegarden #potager

I am a proud mamma right now, the one veg that I wished to grow and grow in abundance are 'Echalion', 'Banana' or even French shallots and all from seed. Yes labour of love.
They are a cross between regular (round) shallot and an Onion.
Last year managed to grow 5!! This year, not just have a handful, I have a whole trug full YAY
.
A few steps to understand about growing Onions or Shallots, I have jotted it all down in a blog.
Happy reading. Web link in my profile.

Swipe across... Since my first summer seedlings popped up for the coming season I’m feeling so excited for my spring garden! Here’s some spring/summer growing inspo... I think I’m most looking forward to eating corn tomatoes and cucumber... what about you? What are you looking forward to growing or eating the most? On a side note..... can you spot pig?
1 year ago i posted my first ever mug shot on my page to introduce myself. I’m not one for a selfie so photos of me are a rarity! (Videos are another thing though) Hello to all those who are new to my page, Im Sarah and I started this page because I wanted to inspire others to grow food plus I was spamming my friends and family on my personal page! I’ve just learnt how to grow food through trial and error I’ve had plenty of fails and im not trained in anyway.... just a back yard hobby gardener, learning as I go. Every gardener has fails so If you have tried to grow food and given up I urge you to try again start with just a couple of things you eat a lot of! If I can grow food then you can too! It’s a great feeling to prepare a meal from food you have grown so it’s worth the persistence. I do tend to share my failures in my stories sometimes they can be pretty funny! Anyway happy gardening and thanks to everyone who follows my garden adventures TAG A FRIEND who should try grow food too!
