Spent yesterday in the real world creating five raised garden beds for veggies from sun up to sunset —just me, a shovel, a wheelbarrow, and a cordless drill. Finally get to chill, check the web, and my morning Facebook post marketing my flower essences had resulted in a shit storm. . I had received full-on harassment from over half a dozen people throughout the day telling me I was going to kill people and that I shouldn’t be selling my products because “didn’t I know nightshades are poisonous and deadly? Obviously, how dumb must I be?” . What a gut punch. . The comments were disastrous so I am going to cover some ground rules about my social media accounts. . Garden harvest I was working with this morning: gallica and rugosa roses, milky oats, red clover, st. John's wort, and a few random little things. The oats became a vinegar infusion and a tincture. Red clover became a tincture. The Hypericum is macerating in sunflower seed oil and some of the rose petals are in honey while the rest are drying. What are you working with today?

Tip: Walk through the garden (or graze your container/windowsill garden) each morning to gather a handful of herbs - lemon balm, tulsi, pineapple sage, peppermint, spearmint, rosemary, rose petals, etc. - and put them in a pitcher of water. Keep the pitcher in the fridge and use it to fill your water bottle throughout the day.
