Rainy days always make me feel so much less guilty about spending the day doing absolutely nothing. I find having a full day every week to full recover, no appointments or work or anything, has helped me put so much more into the remainder of the week.

Frantically packing our bags as we're heading to Galiano tomorrow (right after we shoot a wedding) to shoot an elopement & will be staying until Friday (well Kels will, morg heads home on Tuesday ). Can't wait to visit our home away from home, soak in some vitamin sea (editing at the beach anyone, why not) and do a couple of shoots while we're over there.

Just booked 12 days at Galiano this summer in between a couple of weddings we'll be shooting & I literally CANNOT wait! Last summer we had weddings every, single, weekend, and I am SO grateful for the work that we had, but it left very little room for work/life balance. One of my biggest goals for this year was to implement practices & systems that would allow for more of that, which includes marking time off onto our calendars in advance, otherwise it simply will not happen for us. . . What is one thing you do to help yourself have a healthy work/life balance?
