Det är verkligen spännande att skapa ett broderi utifrån de givna laserskurna hålen. Dekorationssömmen som håller ihop de två bitarna är uppbyggd av förstygn, se bilder. Our Gutermann thread rack is like a beast that constantly needs feeding but it’s one of my favourite things in the shop and our customers seem to love it! Our online thread matching service means it’s our most popular selling haberdashery and I’m using it for today’s #myshoplife19 prompt of least expensive item...We do stock lots of even more affordable habby, like safety pins, chalk and unpickers but we’ve still only got a small proportion of it all online, it’s one of the many jobs that we still haven’t had a chance to get to, but another great reason to visit us! Das Patent dieses Geräts stammt aus den 1920ern, als eine industrielle Fertigung effizient genug wurde. Zuletzt wurde es in der Form Anfang der 50er produziert. Danach gab es noch ein paar Nachfolgemodelle aus Plastik bis in die 70er, aber spätestens dann war es für den Verbraucher ökonomischer, neue Socken zu kaufen (plus möglicherweise Angst vor Stigmatisierung in den wirtschaftlichen Hochzeiten...). Und dann waren die Stopfapparate wie vom Erdboden verschluckt 50 Jahre Industriegeschichte eines Haushaltsgegenstands. Durch Innovation ermöglicht, und durch Innovation obsolet gemacht. Ich finde sowas immer ganz spannend.
