After a lazy morning [triplets = lazy: said no one ever ‍♀️] @daddy_to_triplets_and_bro and I decided to take the smalls minus one () to @draytonmanorpark After Monday’s adventures - where we didn’t make it to Thomas Land due to the errant ways of 3 smalls - we had a quiet little chat before we went whilst everyone was calm. We reminded them of what happened when they didn’t listen to the Bigs. We try and talk in the positive to raise expectations of what we want rather than focus on the negative. We told them that listening to us is being good and that we’d be able to stay out and have a lovely time if we all do good listening to each other. I try and remind them of the behaviour that I want rather than talk about what I don’t want. When they do something good I praise them to keep it positive. It can encourage good behaviour because they get competitive And sometimes they just ignore me and do what they want anyway‍♀️ Etta has started counting to three when her sisters do something she doesn’t like . . As soon as we got there it started to rain and Etta & Bertie said they wanted to sleep We were like, Woo- this was worth the trip! But five minutes later they were running around the model railway! . . And then something incredible happened. A woman came over to tell me she was a triplet. She told me about her love for her other siblings, but how her love for her triplet sisters was on a whole other level. They’ve moved around the world to be next to each other. How lovely As I watched Amelie grab Etta when she turned the corner and face plant her with a giant kiss, I listened to the woman and thought, yes . . Oh, and in other news all of them went on the big toilet for the first time whilst we were out Those of you potty training will know how exciting this is . . Happy Thursday . .
