I used to take naps daily, they were a form of a meditation for me, a way I connected to something whimsical, something beyond me, I’d turn to it for clarity, for insight. There is something almost miraculous that happens as the brain begins to fall asleep, all worries slowly dissolve, all options that the brain holds start becoming clear, some fall behind, some change shape, and you’re left with this sweet feeling, a blissful moment in which you know clearly what it is that you need, at that moment you are sure this is it, this is how it should be...then you fall asleep for a few minutes and wake up alive and ready to live a new life, clearly remembering that feeling you’ve just experienced, trying to carry it for as long as you can in your focus just like you would carry water with your bare hands...we need more naps in our lives...❤️
