We are psyched that @keia.chan will be taking her very first flight this Saturday to celebrate Chinese New Year with family and friends in sunny Singapore. This will be her first trip to Singapore, her first airplane ride, her first time not sleeping in her own bed (we are worried!) and her first time receiving Hong Baos 紅包！ . Packing a diaper bag for a 10 month old for the flight requires a lot of thought so since so much brain-wreaking has been put to it, I’d like to share with other parents what I’ve packed for the flight. I am still nursing Keia but top her up with formula milk as she has a humongous appetite now. For first time traveling mom’s, nursing your baby/sucking the pacifier IS A MUST during take-off & landings to help your little one equalize the air pressure in her sinus. Before becoming a mother myself, one can never fathom the amount of sacrifices a mother goes through for her children. My mom has 3, and that makes it 3 times more challenging bringing us up all by herself! People nowadays ask me how do I manage to care for Keia without a helper, then I would ask myself “how did my mom do it?
