I LOVE MY NAKED BODY I woke up to a comment this morning saying something along the lines of "if you exercised and ate right maybe then someone would want to see you naked." This comment didnt bother me, it made me realize how in this (body positive life) I am for myself and no-one else. Smiling because I love the feeling of not caring what other people think of my body. Smiling because I'm finally appreciating my body for this things it IS rather than what it ISN'T. Smiling because through meditation and mindfulness, I'm learning how to be happy and grateful about what I have rather than anxious or depressed about what I don't. Smiling because I finally have faith that everything will be ok. Smiling because I'm right where I need to be with the people I need to be with. What are you smiling for?

Double chin and messy bun moment. For the longest time, I'd be so conscious about the way I'd poise myself in order to look the least fat possible. Not anymore!!!!

A blissful day spent wandering through the @nationalmuseumofarchaeology in Athens today and now I'm that lush level of tired where your mind is alert and clear, your body feels energised but ready for a sit down lol Do more of what you love!

My last day Greece today and I'm feeling a whole load of emotions. I think they call it holiday blues and that led me to thinking; why do we only find this kind a happiness when we're on holiday away from our day to day life? Something does feel quite right about that to me. I don't want to resign this wonderful feeling to just holidays. We get one life, let's live our best one as much as possible. If we feel blue about going back to our 'real' life then maybe it's time to make a few changes!

ANXIETY: mindfulness really does work. That's coming from a woman has suffered with anxiety disorders her entire life. Since I've started opening myself up to the power of now, being mindful and regular meditation I can confidently say I feel like a new person. Go meditate! REMINDER: You are enough as you are right NOW. You can start from where you are right NOW. You don't need anything that you haven't already got right NOW.

MONDAY MORNING MANTRA: I will NOT deprive myself of eating because of what I ate over the weekend Ladies and gentlemen, hear me and hear me loud- you’re allowed to eat on weekends! You’re allowed to eat everyday of the week. Just because you eat “more” or “worse” on the weekends does not mean you need to cut back on eating once the week starts again . Yesterday I ate this Oreo shake after having a sandwich and fries. My old mindset would say, oh my god I need to run 5 miles and not eat tomorrow. But now I think, I wanted to do that and I enjoyed it, so why get down on myself? If I deprived myself then I would just binge even worse later on. And it’s not even about the act of binging that is minimized, it’s about the self hate that I prevented from manifesting .
