Students taking part in #NFPA1001 firefighter training, #NFPA1002 driver operator training, #NFPA472 HAZMAT Tech, #NFPA1006 water rescue technician, #NFPA1006 vehicle rescue and #OFMEM #IFSAC and #proboard certification testing.

A few books and Fire Department training manuals I picked up while working as a military firefighter and defense contractor. Yes, I started with Essentials 3rd edition (#dinosaur) and even the Emergency Response Handbook was six years old when it was taken from Johnston Atoll. I think because they had new handbooks in is why I was able to keep the old one. I do miss my bunkers and frequently. Why the #VAAmeicanLake #Hospital is one of the few places I feel #comfortable in while being around #WashingtonState (I am from a much warmer climate. #Antigua and #JohnstonAtoll was always the perfect weather if not a bit chilly at #times). We are not at all the same. It’s why I do not network and only collaborate with people who know that I’m only a highly experienced #defensecontractor (#brokenshield) trying to #relax. It’s also why I avoid talking about who I creatively collaborate with: I simply enjoy the #time they spent helping me creatively because they are all just very nice and inspired me to be better! I do very much appreciate them but I can not really be like them of course. They never really seemed to care about that thankfully though and some are now truly just #understanding friends. I’m usually with the #wolves and wound up meeting them through circumstances that were improbable at best but I’m very glad to have met them.
