Have you ever seen a spot on IG and then immediately saved it cuz you knew you had to go there before you got inside of a coffin? That’s exactly how I felt when I saw @saltinourhair’s post of this beautiful white pagoda in Myanmar earlier this year (it’s actually their profile pic now)!! It was one of two main driving factors behind my 3,500 mile trek. The actual temple was 90mins out of Mandalay but all of that commuting was definitely worth it the second I arrived. I thought for sure there would be hoards or visitors here but there were actually very few people here! The best part is since this pagoda is a circle, you could get pretty much the same shot from every angle. What’s a destination you had dreamt about forever and then finally had the chance to see in person? Hope it was an experience that surpassed expectations!!
