Fresh’s Soy Face Cleanser has been a long time favorite of mine so I was so excited when #freshbeautygiftedme the newest cleanser in their line: the Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash - - This cleanser has a jam-like consistency with sugar crystals suspended in it to gently exfoliate the skin. If you like physical exfoliation, this is a much gentler alternative to using a face scrub. It doesn’t leave your skin dry or sensitized, it just feels smooth and balanced. I would only use a product like this 1-3x a week and make sure to not combine it with any chemical exfoliators. It has a really yummy citrus scent and it’s pleasant to use. - - Overall, I don’t find this cleanser to be life changing because I prefer using chemical exfoliators (AHA & BHA). However if you like physical exfoliation, and want to make sure you’re being gentle, this is a fantastic option. It won’t strip your skin or cause any problems. I will continue using this cleanser once a week, and a chemical exfoliator around 3x a week. Ive been keeping my sun/dark spots in check & they’ve definitely gotten lighter throughout the past couple of weeks, while using this. The bottle is pricey and I definitely don’t think you need the product but if you have the means, I would recommend it. I have a lot of freckles and sun spots from neglecting my skin in grad school when I lived in Florida.. ive been real diligent with brightening products to reduce the spots and it’s working!
