sharing one more post before i spend all weekend taking photos for next week's photo challenge! today's all about this little gem, the liar princess and the blind prince. i caved (what's new) and picked up the physical edition of this game since it included a soundtrack and a storybook reminiscent of the in-game narration. and boy was i surprised at how nice it all is! the box is both beautiful in its quality and its design, the soundtrack sounds so pretty, and the storybook is SO. FREAKING. CUTE. so cute!! the art book is also spoiler-free for all of you who want to take a peek at it before you play. the game itself is really short, about 4–6 hours, and the puzzle-platforming is sometimes finicky and sort of leaves something to be desired (there is fall damage, AKA about 98% the cause of all my deaths). BUT the story, the story is *chef's kiss* ‍. the story is soooo precious! i knew how long the game was going in, as i knew how "just ok" the gameplay was too. i really bought this gem of a game for its art style and music, but i’m glad to say i also got to experience a moving little story with equally moving and heartwarming characters. spending more on the physical edition miiiiight not be worth it for most people, but i’d definitely recommend picking this up digitally if you're looking for a short, sweet, and beautiful little game! #theliarprincessandtheblindprince #nisamerica #nintendo #nintendoswitch #nintendoswitchgames #switchfam #indiegames #nerdyflatlay #girlswhogame #gamergirl #gamersofinstagram #gamestagram #aesthetic
