⠀ PlastikFREItag ⠀ ⠀ Naaaa hab ich eure Aufmerksamkeit? ;-) Nein ich habe keine Silikonbrüste, aber das Thema heute ist Silikon. Sind es wirklich Plastikbrüste? Ist Silikon Plastik? Die Antwort ist Jain!⠀ ⠀ Silikon wird nicht aus Erdöl hergestellt! Wusste ich nicht, find ich gut. Silikon wird aus Silizium, Sauerstoff, Kohlenstoff und Wasserstoff hergestellt. Es ist also eine chemische Herstellung zum Kunststoff. Silikon ist also irgendwie ein Zwischending. Das bedeutet, dass für die Herstellung keine fossilen Rohstoffe benötigt werden. Silikon ist also mit den anderen Kunststoffen nicht vergleichbar. Merkmale von Silikon: Flexibilität, Formbarkeit, Klarheit, Temperaturbeständigkeit, Wasserbeständigkeit, außerdem kommt es ohne Weichmacher aus. Daher werden daraus auch Implantate, Schnuller, Kontaktlinsen uvm. hergestellt. Genauso kann man damit aber auch Fugen dichten und Backformen beschichten. Und da sind wir natürlich auch schon beim Nachteil. Laut Öko-Test sind Silikone zwar ungiftig und langhaltend, jedoch schwer abbaubar. Trotzdem ist Silikon extrem gut recyclebar und sollte über die gelbe Tonne entsorgt werden. Aber ist Silikon wirklich ungiftig? Da scheiden sich die Geister. Was aber sicher ist. In der Kosmetik bringt Silikon nichts außer den Preis der Herstellung zu minimieren. Eine Pflegeleistung ist nicht vorhanden, denn in Lotionen und Shampoos etc. ersetzen Silikone einfach nur hochwertige Öle. Die Silikone in der Kosmetik sorgen dafür, dass sich alles so weich anfühlt, allerdings ist es wirklich als würde man sich Plastik auf die Haut schmieren. Die Haut kann also nicht atmen. Bei Apps wie Codecheck könnt ihr immer die Inhaltsstoffe überprüfen. Für mich fühlt sich das Fazit so an. In Kosmetik sollte man unbedingt auf Silikone verzichten, in der Medizin und Herstellung einiger Produkte, zB welche die einen Dichtungsring benötigen, lässt es sich derzeit nicht vermeiden und ist irgendwie ok.
