Yo sé que mi mamá-mamá no es ella, pero ella es la que ejerce ese papel, el papel de cuidadora cuando me tapa si tengo frío o se preocupa de llevarme la sudadera si vamos a ir a una terraza; de protectora cuando me caigo por las rocas y me hago un herida o cuando corro muy lejos; de sanadora cuando me pongo pachucha y está las 24 horas al día pendiente de mí; de luchadora cuando defiende los derechos de mis iguales por encima de todo. Other than starting this new brand, you can catch us rescuing, rehabilitating, educating, building awareness and advocating for dogs. A few times a year we go and do international rescue missions where we feel needs the most help. We usually partner with organizations. Our last mission a couple months back we went to Lebanon and partnered up with @betalebanon . Beta has over 700 dogs in their no kill shelter, they are one of the very few organizations out there. Lebanon has a few laws against animal cruelty but none are very enforced. What is happening to animals on the daily is beyond disturbing and sickening. From this trip we brought back 3 dogs to find them their furever homes in Canada because we knew they had a very slim chance in Lebanon. Here is Marcus’s now named Odin’s story. When he was found on the streets, he had been shot in the face. He had a big chain around his neck. He was very fearful. We believe he also had been abused. He was about 1.5 years old. Taken straight to the vet, he got a couple surgeries, one being skin graft. It was a long recovery road for this little guy but he came out of it like a champ. He is now blind from one eye, but that does not slow him down! Once in Canada we did some rehabilitation with him at the rescue (which you can follow us here as well @raincoastdogrescue250 ) and we watched him blossom and become a really funny little guy! The perfect humans adopted Marcus and named him Odin. Daily you can find him paddle boarding with his mom and dad, going on adventures, going to the beach and playing with his new friends. He’s getting so much love, attention and cuddles, it truly warms our hearts! ♥️

RESCUED Are you sharing Oso? Please help us share him❣️❣️ Oso is the longest Dog at Downey. He has received a 48 hour notice. Oso the soulful GSD, is a character, he may be a little worn around the edges.... but "HEY" that only adds to his charms. ❤ He is very personable and a very happy fellow, who only gets serious and concentrates really hard when there is a treat involved. He loves his treats....and always on his best behavior waiting for one..❤ I think Oso is a type of dog that would inspire a writer..... Like who wrote Buddy, Ribsy or Benji. You can fill pages about his charms, quirks and his ability to love.....as Oso inspires you, he would also be your best friend for life. Oso needs a forever home now. Someone who can give him the love and attention for life. He is beyond urgent and needs lots of sharing, because he has no time left at the shelter.
