Greg.. our neighbor passes by later that day, with his machete that he uses for all typical type of things here, on his land.... . ... like keeping the Electra wires free of palm leaves, chopping pipa’s (coconut with coconut water) open etc etc ... . Then Nick - - our youngest saw the lights in Dirk’s eyes ... and asked Dirk: . “What about a machete daddy?” . The rest .... is ... history ...hahahahaha We just bought one from a more than 50 year old ferretería here in Cobano, with a handmade leader protection around it .. to protect the toes and fingers . ⋒ ⋒NEW MOON⋒ ⋒ What is the New Now you are wanting to build? . . I’ve been having some cool conversations with clients in regard to what New Now they want to create. To me, the New Now is dependent on the change makers & paradigm shifters stepping up & coming to the front lines; actively choosing to Light Lead a new norm into being. The New Now requires a helluva lot of unlearning & rewilding (my fave things). It takes courage, bravery, vulnerability & taking radical responsibility for the world you want to create. It takes giving yourself permission to live in your authentic truth & wild alignment. Creating a New Now requires us to expose the wires of the current program playing out, dismantling what no longer serves, & boldly rewiring a new one. . . We all get tastes of what our desired New Now could be like. Sometimes we experience it when we go on vacation or travel, feeling that excitement of exploring unknown areas we’ve never been. Other times while in environments that encourage our wild, untamed nature out... Maybe it’s while dancing to music that makes you forget everything else, or while surrounded by like minds who make you feel safe to let your guard down, or when you express your creativity & make things solely because it fulfills you & feels good.... Sometimes we get a glimpse of our desired New Now when we feel fear but leap anyway... or when we speak our truth even when our voice shakes. . . What if we could bottle up those moments where we feel limitless, connected, & abundant AF.. & make them last forever, as a new way of life? #yesplease . . “where do I know you from?” . I usually give a few answers and then, it usually comes out - “umm or the Bachelor? maybe from there?” . this is an interesting part of my journey that I still get asked about all the time but hadn’t written about. I hope it inspires you to take risks, and say YES to where life is leading you . I started to get a strong intuition that I wanted to share my messages – modern spirituality, the power to co-create your reality, how to awaken your authentic power, the rising of the divine feminine and how to live from a place of love and authenticity to a wider audience . At the time, I had been teaching meditation for 3 years, coaching for 2 years, and running Circle for about 3 months. I had been regularly writing and speaking about meditation, personal growth, and how to cultivate inner peace and happiness. I had built everything slowly, and was seeing steady success and growth . I loved making videos – and at the time, had been posting regularly to my social media, so wanted to go on tv and share more . I reached out to a friend who worked in TV and asked how I could get onto some of the national lifestyle shows . She said that it was about a two year processor…the Bachelor is casting, you should apply . There was my moment. Do I say yes, and trust what was unfolding, or did I let my mind jump back in with all of the reasons why this was insane . The decision to say yes wasn’t easy, because from a rational, logical and mind-level place, I knew the following: · I was going to be judged; · Everyone who knew me wasn’t going to understand my intention; · Part of my mission centres around empowering women, and wasn’t this show, at its core, contrary to that?; · It could potentially put my law and personal reputations in danger ... etc etc etc . But then - I decided to play the game. I trusted that the universe was leading me to this experience for a reason - so it had to be for my highest growth and to be of service in whatever way spirit wanted me to be .
