Yes, you got this right. You don’t stand under a shower - you sit on a small stool in front of the big mirror. This experience turned out to be weirdly pleasant

Firstly, thanks to the mirror you always control the amount of soap that doesn’t get into your eyes I mean, who doesn’t have this problem? ⠀

Secondly, during showering you can also do all the facial treatments such as cleaning, scrubbing and peeling. It adds to the spa experience after having a bath in the onsen, and all beauty products are always available at this type of showers. ⠀
