A question I get asked frequently is what software and programs are used to edit my videos and photos. To answer that question my preferred editing programs for pictures is Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop and for videos I use “final cut” yes all three programs are paid programs, but very worth it and highly recommend. Of course there is a lot of free ones out there but these just happen to be my preferred ones. It definitely will feel overwhelming at first to learn some of these programs but “things that matter take time” right? Anyway check them out lmk what y’all think of them. I made this diagram to address a question I get asked frequently “what are my steps for a haircut”. Here it is simple right?, but of course this is not all it takes to complete a haircut. Every client and every hair cut is different, what it really comes down to is learning your clients hair, do they have coarse or thin hair? Straight, wavy or curly hair? In my process that determines whether you should space out guidelines a lot or just a bit. Using corners of the clippers to manage tight spots, using free hand and many other techniques come into play when trying to “perfect” a haircut......point is don’t get caught up in the “steps” although they are a start but that’s simply all they will be, a start. #fxdedculture
