English Oak & Redcurrant is a tart, fruity, woody fragrance for men and women; which is described as the forest at dawn — bright, embracing, and bewitching. This fragrance was a total “love a first sniff” for me. It smells very fresh, crisp, green, and juicy. The opening is extremely vibrant, there’s a wonderfully soft floral at the heart, and it all seems to be surrounded by a warm and enveloping base. Although this cologne feels a bit youthful, I think it could be comfortably worn by any age (casually or dressed up), and it’s ideal for daytime use. Even though the performance is moderate, I consider this to be about average for the category/concentration. Besides, I really enjoy reapplying this fragrance (mid-wearing); in order to refresh the scent and extend its longevity. ☺️ This is a very mysterious and enchanting fragrance.
