YAY!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift from Charlie Hunnam!!! He tied my kabbalah red string on for me!! ❤️ When we first met I told him it was my birthday and he was my gift to myself. We talked about the yoga class that was to take place the next day, I gave him a pocket Zohar to carry with him for protection and I asked him if he would like to tie my red string. He was excited and promised he would at the Kundalini yoga class. He also showed me his red strings. The next day as soon as Ryan and Charlie wrapped up Kundalini yoga, Charlie got on the mic and asked where I was, he said he didn’t forget he had promised to tie my red string!! I walked to the front of room and we spoke and he began the process of placing energy on the red string and tying it on me. Charlie put such love, light, energy and prayer that I felt it!!! He then bowed his head on my red string on my hand to seal the energy. During the entire weekend we kept seeing each other for photos and talking. But when he signed my photograph we talked a bit longer about spirituality, his next journey, being a lightworker, I gave him a bit of a quick reading what’s to come for him spiritually, and I told him he was one of us, a Starseed for sure!!! ✨ What an incredible experience!!! Thank you Charlie and all of the CHI members for being so loving and supportive! Mucho Milagro #nuevayorka . You may have noticed in my photos that I wear a bright red string on my wrist. It’s Kabbalah, worn for protection, as it is said to absorb and shield you from the “evil eye” i.e. any negative energy that might come your way. The tradition is to tie the string on your left wrist (the receiving side of the body) seven times sealing intentions with each knot and committing to an abstention from negative thoughts towards others. I am told that the string will fall off when it is no longer needed and should be left behind, as it carries all the negative energy intercepted while it’s been worn. . On Sunday, the last day of mercury retrograde, my second Kabbalah string broke off after only two short months. I was shocked and a bit saddened, but something about it felt right. It felt like a release. And I wanted to get rid of the string, instead of saving it as I had the first. So I took both to the ocean later that day -- said a little prayer and sent them out to sea. . Yesterday, I felt a cold coming on and returned to my apartment from New Jersey, where I holed up to write all day. I've also been struggling with tendinitis and will often feel it flare up when I’m at the computer for long periods. But even after typing for hours, for some reason there was no pain yesterday, which was quite strange. Especially because over the past two months, I’ve diligently followed doctor's orders and have seen no improvement. By evening my wrist was still pain-free, but I wasn't entirely convinced, so I tried all the tests I’d learned in physical therapy. Still nothing. This was indeed a striking change – literally overnight. . I realized I began struggling with tendinitis in my left wrist around the same time that I attached the string. And the person who tied it on me was a friend-turned-love interest, who I’ve not seen since. We left things on not great terms after a super awkward date. Actually, awkward is putting it mildly. He acted like a total dick to me – his behavior was belittling, childish and unsettling. But I never addressed it with him directly. . And I should have...⬇️ .
