Hello Skincare Fam! Finals are officially OVER and I'm so happy to finally get some much needed rest and me time, aka IG time! Bellflower Official was so kind to send me 2 of their serums to test out and I'm here to share my review! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Azulene Daily Calming Serum: This beauty contains Azulene (of course) Niacinimide, Honey Extract, HA, and Centella Asiatica! Perfect timing having a major skin issue when this arrived! I exfoliated wrong (how lame of me right?), thus leaving me with super red, tender cheeks. Azulene to the rescue! This did a wonderful job at soothing down the redness and tenderness of my skin. Absorbed well, no tackiness or pilling when combined with different products! I would say though, I see myself reaching for my Rovectin Cica Balm over this for skin issues, only because the Cica Balm works its magic faster in my opinion. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this serum and highly recommend if you're looking for a serum packed with awesome skingredients! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hibiscus Anti-Aging Serum: I think we all know how into anti-aging I am right now! This contains Hibiscus extract, Niacinimide, Collagen, 7 Types of Complex Peptides, and Aloe! This is where the first impression-ish comes in, because I've been using this for about 3-4 weeks now? I personally haven't seen any anti-aging changes yet, but it's too soon to see anything drastic in my opinion. Anti-aging is a complicated "change" to document, esp when you're doing this more as a preventative, like myself. The consistency is thinner than the Azulene, but leaves a slight tackiness that my moisturizer couldn't mask. I did wake up with a nice morning glow though, very much appreciated! I'll definitely continue using this and check back in with you all in a month or two for any anti-aging changes! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Any new items you've tried out lately? Confessions of a Skincare Hoarder: Toner Edition. So, I currently have 20 toners (or hydrating watery layers) on the go. It’s a lot. They’re one of my favourite steps in a skincare routine, and the step I would say has improved my skin the most over the years (see My 5 Steps to Glowy Skin on my blog for more info on that). . Some of these are PR, some were originally gifted and then I’ve repurchased myself, and some I’ve shopped for. I genuinely could not pick favourites from this line up...they’re all here because I actually think they’re all great. I don’t hold onto products I don’t like. . I am trying to destash, so I’m working on using up the remnants of 10 of these that have less than half the product remaining. I’m using them on my body as well as my face, which has had a seriously positive effect on my itchy dry skin across my upper back and shoulders. So extra to use toner on my body, but I’m swearing by it for helping reduce the itchiness I experience. . Do you see your favourite here? It's cold again today. With weather like this, I am constantly switching jackets. . What are some underrated products you like and you think deserve more love? . I'm sure we own things that we love and don't see enough reviews/posts with anyone talking about it. Whether it's aesthetically pleasing to look at or not, I think it's very important to have effective products that actually work for you! . I'm almost done my glowhill pure peel cream and I'm quite sad because it's really nice and mild on my skin. I always have soft skin after using it. As for the it's skin tiger cica cream, this is my go-to PM moisturizer because it does the job for me! Calming, hydrating and moistirizing~ what more can I ask for? . Glossier cloud paints are pretty popular products and I actually got these to see what the hype was about. I can see why they're so well-loved. Their unique gel, lightweight texture is extremely easy to blend into the skin and can be layered if needed. Dewy skin, looks like skin! Win, win!! . That's it for now folks, have a gude day!
