Sí he bajado grasa y ¡cómo he comido grasa! . He comido más mantequilla, aceite y tocineta que nunca en mi vida . Extraño los carbos, pero creo que más bien por la costumbre. Porque créame que se come muy rico y cero hambre. ¡Qué increíble no? Quemando grasa comiendo grasa .
Ahora, una semana más para terminar mi “período de adaptación” y meter carbs 2-3 veces a la semana
¡SEGUIMOS! ¿quién se anima?
Y lo que decían, ¡pasó! Por primera vez en 13 días de #KetoDiet salí a correr en ayunas y me sentí INCREÍBLE ♀️
¿Cuál es la diferencia? Me siento liviana, fuerte, cero pesadez. La sensación es de estabilidad y control en el entrenamiento. Es raro, o difícil de explicar, pero sin duda y después de un día difícil (ayer), hoy vi frutos en los cambios que he venido haciendo.
Ojo, comiendo carbos no me iba mal!. Era diferente. Siempre comía antes y me costó muchiiiiisimo cambiar esto, corrí varios días con fatiga y dolor de cabeza. Pero eso ya pasó y hoy le veo mucho beneficio. Sobretodo porque no hay visitas inesperadas al baño ♀️, porque tengo cero pesadez o repitiendo algo de la comida pre entreno y porque sé que mi cuerpo se adaptó a usar la grasa como energía y no depender del carbo.
Hoy corrí 12k y sentí que todavía podía más. ¡Qué maravilla! Y que increíble nuestro cuerpo jeje
This #tbt is in honor of my upcoming half marathon this sunday!
The first #race I ever ran was a #5k two years ago. My weight was about the same, maybe a little lower, but I wore a size larger than I do now. A few months after that I did the iron girl 5k and I had lost about 10 pounds since the 5k. I did another race that year, a virtual #halfmarathon, but I was undereating and overexercising and I couldn't train prooerly. It was actually am awful experience.

Now, I'm hovering between those two same weights but I am a size and a half smaller. And I can actually run a decent distance without stopping for walking breaks!

Weight is just a number. Race times and waist measurements are also just numbers. YOU get to choose which numbers hold value for you.

Also tbh I should take more full body pics. I am so excited for my race this Sunday. I've never trained as diligently as I have for this race and I am certain my time will have improved since my last half. I also can't wait to make some #ketobrick minis for the fuel ups along the way! .

These little gems from @eatingevolved are amping up my fat fueled game and I’m in a deeper state of ketosis than ever before. My body seems to finally be adjusting to exercising on keto so yesterday I ate one between workouts for an extra boost. Not only was it light on my stomach, but my energy level stayed more constant for my run.
