Когда в голове полно идей ⠀ Это то время, когда мне явно не до сна. Slowly making my way through a massive pile of works in progress! I feel like I get weird whenever I’m pregnant and completely lose my desire to crochet or knit and am in pure survival mode for nine straight months ‍♀️ Anyone else get that way? No? Only me? It freaks me out every time. I’m like, “What the heck? Who am I?” but now that baby Emily is sleeping better (temporarily because I know that sleep regression is right around the corner ) I’m finding the tiniest little moments during the day to work on old projects and it feels soooo good. Makes me feel like my old self again. I’ve been sneaking in a about an hour to play with yarn each morning before the girls are up for the day and it’s seriously the best. Highly recommend it ☺️❤️ — This lovely little mauve bag right here is from @woolandthegang and it’s called the “I Got You” bag. I can’t find it on their website anymore which is a shame because it was such a fun and easy project to make! And I struggle with knitting so anytime I say a knit project is fun and easy, it’s a pretty big deal

I love her I love her I love her Emily has been the best and sweetest addition to our little family. It’s so weird to not have a colicky baby this go around I love Madison to pieces, but I feel like I was totally robbed of all the sweet baby-ness that I’m getting to enjoy with Emily. I’m like, “Whaaaat? Babies don’t scream all the time? Whaaaat? I can set my baby down to switch a load of laundry and have her just chill? Whaaaat? We can actually do tummy time? Whaaaat? We can drive in the car and not hear screaming the whole time? Whaaaat? Other people can hold and soothe my baby? Like what is this?!” I just want to go give past Megan the biggest hug and tell her she’s so much stronger than she ever could have guessed and that life gets so much better. Madison as a toddler is just the absolute best! She’s adorable, sweet, kind, thoughtful and hilarious! And now I somehow got lucky enough to have a second little girl who’s giving me that baby experience that’s sweet and adorable and makes your ovaries constantly explode! I won’t totally sugar coat things though. I admit that life is still challenging and my mental health isn’t the best during this new baby stage. I’m still going through anxiety attacks and having at least one crying spell a day because babies and toddlers require so so much care and attention (this mama is exhausted) and Emily is a normal baby that cries and fusses sometimes But I’m just trying my hardest to focus on the good because there’s seriously so much good. All that really matters right now is soaking in all this adorable baby cuteness and loving on my two princesses because I know that someday when I’m getting fully rested, have time to properly take care of myself, and have time to work on my dreams/business, I’ll miss these days more than anything. Kids grow way too fast... . This is my Simone Cardigan from @weareknitters by the way! I don’t know if you guys remember me working on it last winter but I’ve finally finished it! I made mine extra oversized on purpose but I think it’s supposed to be a oversized cardigan anyway ☺️ Can’t wait to live in this all winter! It’s so freaking cozy and comfortable ❤️

This is Pattern No:28 from Autumn 2000 Vogue knitting. I like the shape of this cardigan it's boxy and will sit nicely on my hips but I'm going to change it up a bit to add some Fairisle colour work. I will be knitting this pattern slightly from different from the instructions. I'm knitting the body and sides as one on circular needles and I'm adding a faux seam which I will show you later. (Love knitting these they will finish my cardi nicely) I altered the stitch count to accommodate my fairisle pattern, this is fun and easy to do.
