A spiritual trip I will never forget. When I was struggling in my addiction; on the brink of dying, a friend of my family told my parents she stuck my name in the Wailing Wall and prayed. My dream since getting sober has been to put a simple ‘Thank You’ into that wall since I got a second chance at life. I finally did, as well as all the names of my loved ones. I thought I’d be able to say a prayer and stick all my names in stoically but when I leaned my head against the Wall I was flooded with emotion. I don’t know if I could feel the pain of every prayer uttered there or if I was overwhelmed by the ineffable depth of Gods love for us ALL. No matter what religion, ethnicity, socioeconomic status or cultural background, we are all an extension of Him—the Source of all things, and that is one very big and beautiful re-cognition. ✨ #miracle #grateful #theoldcity #spiritualexperience
