RADIO HERITAGE by K|J Radio Capitol Bandung . This console is equipped with a 1953 PHILIPS record player and with, what the technician thinks is, an unbranded PHILIPS tube radio chassis. . We tested the tube amplifier and we were really surprisedby its power. 2 PHILIPS 8" and 6" original full range drivers were used. They sound great! . We have not tested yet the AM waves as best hour to do that is in the evening. . The turntable is operational, hence the sound comes out small. It will require further test early next year. It is connected to a tube phono amplifier. Perharps the tube needs replacement. It was most likely produced in the mid 1960s. It is made from solid teakwood, the side panels using single boards. . It was fully restored, refinished, and fitted with modern 10" full range drivers.
