CUT OUTS.
A little while ago stylist Sania Pell asked if she could borrow some showroom pieces for a shoot with Kvadrat textiles. We use this fabric brand a lot in our displays, partly because they have the best colour ranges, so we had quite a choice for her. We loved the results of the same team's collaboration a year or so ago so we've been keeping an eye out for the results.
This image is the first and worth the wait. Gorgeous colours, forms, shapes. Our Pumpkin sofa, design Pierre Paulin, takes centre stage covered in Coda fabric. This heavily textured wool fabric is essentially one colour, in this case cream. However Kvadrat use a contrast thread behind the main weave. It is this contrast, in this case raspberry, that brings it to life. Although it is really subtle, we think Sania has drawn on this with her choices of back drop. Its great. A real colour tonic.
