My husband and I talked about our finances yesterday and we want to challenge ourselves to live on ALOT less until the end of the year. We talked about putting his income into just savings and towards debt whereas mine will go towards all the bills and mortgage. I bring home about 2800 and our bills and mortgage is about 2500 a month! Wish us luck!

Our budget looks a little different this month because of #nospendfebruary, but that's exciting because it means we will have extra to put toward our #debtfreegoals to be #mortgagefree.⁣ ⁣ We usually spend $400/month on food and we're cutting that to $100 for February.⁣ ⁣ We average about $200/month on household miscellaneous and we're cutting that to $0.⁣ ⁣ The fun and clothing categoriesvary depending on the month.⁣ ⁣ I would say we're at least saving $600 by doing a #NoSpendMonth, even though we already have pretty low discretionary spending.⁣ ⁣ Have you done a #nospendchallenge? Hey Y’all! We’ve got quite a bit of new faces around here so I thought I’d do a little #fridayintroduction for ya! Me and these cute kiddos, plus my husband and our black lab make up @thislifeonabudget Some quick fun facts about us: • We have 3 girls • We met at Sam Houston State University • We will be married 10 years this year • We became #debtfree (again) in January of 2019 paying off 10k in medical bills in 5 months. • One income • We just paid cash for my husbands vehicle after being a one car family for 2 years! (For the second time) • Golf makes my husband happy, Coffee makes me happy • We love spending time with our kids and are trying our best to teach them #financialpeacejunior • We are slightly obsessed with our budget and this lifestyle • Baby Steps 4, 5, & 6 each month = goals We teach #financialpeaceuniversity and my husband is a Ramsey Solutions Trained Master Coach.
