I didn’t understand that when I was a child, but it did awaken my interests to learn how to speak with others effectively, to find out what is hiding under the surface of the iceberg of human behavior.
I wonder what are the circumstances of life that lead us to defend ourselves with shallow small talk or even arrogance, and hide behind the excuses by drowning in prejudices and routines of everyday obligations? I am crazy about awakening a wealth of resources we carry in ourselves, that give us the strength to be open and honest, ready for dialogue with ourselves and others.

DAY 8 | Having Tea ... instead of coffee ☕️ here’s why ♀️.

Before I ever thought of being pregnant, I LOVED coffee so much I’d have 4 or 5 everyday. The thing is that the energy you get from coffee is “fake” energy, you only know how bad your energy levels are when you try to take a break from it. Drinking tee - ones that have caffein - act pretty much the same. But for me is more about taking control over it...not the other way around. Again is just a challenge, I don’t hate coffee .

DAY 7 | Emails ‘TO’ Technique⠀

Hello! This is brief and very practical, I will save your days. ⠀

First go and sign up for https://buff.ly/yR27MS - it will help you unsubscribe for all that trash email you hate, in one go and then will help your inbox stay organized. And no I’m not being sponsored, I just love them!⠀

Second, schedule two (or three) times daily to sit down for 10-15 minutes and check your now, tidy and organized with only awesome and valuable emails. ⠀

Third, use the technique TO - “touch once” - and stop once and for all procrastinating your replies. Even if it is to say “ I will get back to you later”... this one my friends, as I’m the queen of procrastination is the not life changing habit you can adopt, specially if you work on the computer and have to reply people constantly. At least it gets you going and when it becomes a habit, it’s easy.⠀

Last, and it is totally optional but I found it frees my mind: turn off the notifications and that annoying red number thing (on iPhone) that OMG drives me crazy. All my notifications are now turned off so I only check, when it is time to check. ⠀

DAY 6 | 5 Minutes Motivation⠀

I have an S.O.S (you know, meaning “emergency”) file on both my computer and phone with motivational reads/videos/audios. Some of them are very teasy!! ⠀

But it works. Every. Single. Time. ⠀
⠀
There are days I wake up and meh, don’t wanna do my ginourmous TO DO list. But after only 5 minutes of getting my motivational “shot”, I’m up having a shower, my cuppa tea, a swim in the ocean because how lucky I am - and getting on with the day. Got two babies that inspire me and push me throughout the day ;)⠀

Also, a trick if you are in the waves of finding it hard to stay motivated with your balanced eating habits. Fill up your fridge with good snacks and ready to go foods. Make it very handy! ⠀

Today I dedicate to finding balance between my digital life and my life-life. My career coach at the beginning of 2018 told me to share a lot on my Social Media - little did she know how much I share haha⠀

For many years I have used all social platforms massively to promote my work as a freelance artist. But also I just love it, I’m on it everyday, a lot. ⠀

But the point is, I learned that sharing my life and experiences really were important to keep me going and , surprise, this is an old technique for accountability! I have over and over been able to see that when I share a goal, or an idea publicly it is more likely to become real.⠀

DAY 4 | Yoga Sādhana
“A means of accomplishing something”.
Sādhana can also refer to a tantric instructions of a ritual.
It is a beautiful practice you can use for anything in life: The way you eat, the way you sit, the way you stand, the way you breathe, the way you conduct your body, mind and your energies and emotions - everything can be Sādhana when you are using it as a tool for your wellbeing.
Actually you might know more than you think about this, and many best selling authors define it as “Morning Routine” or “Successful Daily Routine” etc… It works!
I was asked in a group what was the one thing I wanted to accomplish, and my reply was: to wake up at 4.30am every morning. No, I’m not crazy!
This is my Sādhana: get up, meditate, do my yoga practice, get some work done and have my Morning Drink, all BEFORE my babies wake up!

⭐️DAY 3 | Ayurvedic Health ⭐️
Hi guys!
I wanted to do a challenge this month for personal reasons: 1. To keep motivated for the new year 2. To keep accountable 3. To have community support
It’s always better when you have other people participating and sharing your goals.
I wanted to put in practice some of the most transformational and amazing things I’ve learned, don’t be surprised if this is the first time you hear the word #ayurveda.
This an ancient health practice works to balance us to our specific body type. We are all different and our bodies work in different ways, following certain patterns so it is good to learn what body type you are what works best for YOU as a whole: physically, emotionally and spiritually.
But this is such a broad subject, for today’s challenge I want to share my morning routine, optimize to my type according to Ayurveda. Some things did seem like standard but I also find my Morning Routine essential. Every day should start with self-care and self-love:
Simple Step-by-Step
1. Drink Morning Drink - warm water + lemon + honey.
2. Wash and brush mouth AND tongue! The tongue is a VERY important step for mouth health.
3. Massage body and stretch.
There. Simple.
