If we put God first, all of these things will fall into place
To me, self discipline and consistency go hand in hand. If you discipline yourself, it’ll be easier to stay on track. If you’re consistent, then self discipline will come easier since you’re seeing results
But nothing on this planet can replace hard work. Prove to yourself that you deserve it
@marcinevin you rock thanks for the post❤

What comes to mind when you think of stress?
#
Most likely it’s finances, work deadlines, schedule demands, and relationship woes. Am I right?
#
But what if I told you there are sources of stress that you might not even be aware of that could be causing you physical, mental and emotional harm. And could very well be slowing your progress.
#
While some stress is certainly inevitable, and small amounts can actually be beneficial, it’s the chronic, unmanaged stress that gets us in trouble.
#
What I’ve found working with clients, talking to friends and loved ones, and even having gone through myself, is that so much of the stress we endure is the result of how we feel about ourselves. We engage in destructive behaviors, negative self talk, and even self sabotage. And slowly but surely it eats away at our well being and can erode our health and well being.
#
Yes, calories certainly matter when trying to lose fat, but those stress chemicals you are pumping out from hating your body or thinking you’re not good enough can absolutely halt fat loss in it’s tracks. And you can very well keep manifesting all of which you don’t want into your life and continue to stay right where you are.
#
And that’s not all. Comparing your journey to that of someone else’s who is completely different from you, freaking out about overeating at one meal or missing a workout are also negative emotions that allow your stress bucket to overflow.
#
What’s worse, it’s these very thoughts and feelings that lead to compensatory behaviors like overexercising, under eating, and falling for quick fix diets that do nothing to help nourish your body or soul.
#
Or perhaps a perfectionist mindset leads you to overeat or give up all together the second you slip up, so your only coping mechanism is to turn to food and you decide that you might as well give up exercising all together.
#
The truth is, if you try to change your body from a place of shame, hate, and disgust, you will be setting yourself up for a difficult, frustrating journey.
#
Get to the root of your emotional issues first and the results you desire will come far more effortlessly.
"80 percent of success is just showing up"
For instance, did you show up at the gym today? Just showing up means you're 80% of the way to a good workout!
The hard part of fighting yourself to get dressed, dealing with traffic and the worry about pain you might experience is over. Now all that is left is to just do the workout
Same thing with anything else in life, it's easier to make significant progress if you simply just show up. Doesn't it make sense that someone who arrives at the door of opportunity has more success than someone just sitting at home?
What do your clothes say about you?
••
I was prepared to write something totally different today, but I have something to vent about so here we go...
••
Never, have I ever, thought that I dress the way I do to “gain attention”. I don’t pick out my outfits thinking ‘hmmm what’s going to get everyone to look at me today? I want everyone to see ME!!’
••
Working out, the gym, eating right, working on myself emotionally and physically has brought me more confidence than I have ever had before. So if I want to wear a crop top or tight shorts, it’s because I FEEL GOOD about myself. I am PROUD of all the progress I have made. I don’t care what you’re doing or what you are wearing - if you feel good then DO YOU BOO! Anyone who takes the time to shame others is the one who is lacking confidence. So yeah, I’m going to continue to wear crop tops and tight leggings while lifting heavy shit BYEEE
