I am so in love with what I do. You see, we are all taught to do things in a certain way. I’ve never been comfortable doing what everyone else is doing. In order for me to stay passionate, I have to break rules, it’s who I am. I will never stop pushing the envelope to create new looks and techniques, (not that I created slicing and smudging) lots of talented artists utilize and have mastered that technique. Big change for this young lady. I used to feel terrified at the idea of tackling a head of hair like this. I just want to say, this technique is NOT for everyone . The other day I stumbled upon a fellow stylist talking poorly on another stylist for using this technique, essentially calling their work lazy, stating that when the glaze fades, the lines would show. I just want to clear something up that is nottrue. If you truly learn to perfect this technique, that will never be a problem, and you WILL fall in love.
