A little farm update: We've been busy. Well, Nick's been really busy and I've been taking lots of pictures and juggling kids. We are adjusting to spring/summer on the farm, and starting to understand how everything is growing in and thriving (and needing attention). We've had some bumps in the road, but all in all we are getting into a routine. Nick just finished building this amazing floating duck house for our little cuties (And yes, he's pretty amazing in case you were wondering). Perfect timing because we just got 3 adorable little goslings that will be joining them soon....currently they're in our basement growing, cuddling together, and generally being super cute. Happy Monday, friends! I’m still speechless from the Wilton share yesterday... what a huge compliment to have them share my cake! Today’s beauty was for a baby shower, believe it or not... a girly, galaxy cake! As I was icing this cake I thought, “never again” for a galaxy cake, but it just reminded me that you have to wait until it all comes together because I absolutely love the end result! This is the only family photo that we have managed to capture in the last week. The days after a baby is born are like a time warp. In between navigating the discomforts of postpartum recovery, caring for a newborn and a toddler with very different needs, keeping our ship in order, and a husband who is on his feet making sure that we are all taken care of. It’s not an easy season by any means but it is such a joyous one grateful for this life and this little family of ours.
