Toes to the Bar

The goal is to bring your legs as close to the body as possible.This is called compression strength. Most people think this movement
is about their Abs in the first place, but the truth is that this movement is about mobility.
If your quads are too weak and/or your hamstrings are too tight you won't be able to do it. Some people compensate their lack of these abilities by raising their bodies instead of their legs. ❌
The second example you can see in this video is not wrong in general, but it's a complete different exercise. It's more of an L – Lever Raise than a Toes to the Bar movement and creates the illusion to raise your legs higher when in fact you just raise your upper body to bring your legs to the bar. ✋
