One of our favourites that we saw online from the recent @thefestivalofquilts. This quilt is called "Starburst" and was created by Elizabeth Wife. It won the Visitors Choice Award and it isn't difficult to see why. Wow! Next year's festival is in Birmingham from August 1 - 4 . Does anyone have plans to go?

Our fave Instagrammer of the week is Sarah from @nohatsquilts.  We recently reviewed Sarah's new book, "Paper Piecing & Design" in issue 24 of @makemodernmagazine.  Sarah loves symmetry and repetition in her work.  We love the use of repetition in this quilt, "Jungleview". Make sure you go over and check out her work.

I've skipped a few days of #igquiltfest but anyway let's jump to day 14's prompt - recent finish. I finished this quilt before Christmas but then it took a few months to sew the label on before sending it to @mrswanderlustmama The front was improv square in a square and then in a log cabin pattern starting from the bottom left. The back was done left over #modmosaicquilt blocks. Straight up and down quilting.
