Well, this is the best pic I could get from yesterday and you know what? I freaking love it! 1) we’re all in the same pic and looking at the camera 2) Shoes untied, messy faces, messy hair, shoes off, mismatched socks and you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way. So perfectly imperfect and I’m 100% ok with it. These are my sweet boys who made me a mama. The most important role I will ever have in life! Motherhood has given me so much more than I could’ve ever imagined and better yet, it’s taught me that it’s OKAY to not be perfect - not to mention, that’s just not realistic. Especially as a boy mama (if you’re a mom of boys, you totally get it ) You’ll have bad days and good, days where you feel you’ve completely failed and days you’d repeat in a heartbeat. You just do your best and give those sweet babes as much love as possible and in the end - they will love you and give you back so much more than you can imagine. They don’t want you to be perfect - they want you to just be there and be YOU! I took a little break from the ‘gram yesterday to be present with my family and in the moment and holy s%#* it felt good! Wishing all of my mama friends and their mamas and all the wonderful deserving women out there trying to be mamas a big ol’ hug and a high five. Thinking of all of you on Mother’s Day and everyday! Let’s be there for each other!
