I did not realize going in just how thick the fabric was - I had to buy a thimble to work with them cause my fingers were getting so torn up AND they took me like 3x as long as I thought they would. Big importace is reusing and using recycled and recyclable materials!! I try to think about the person receiving the parcel and the joy of opening it ... so everything is a gift even if it is bought for themselves .. I'm sure they deserve it !!! I love the stamps made by @englishstamp not too far away in Dorset!! I am in the process of rebranding so will go back to them for more stamps when it is done!!! I also reuse packaging materials from the amazing @zwastenotwantnotbridport!! March Meet the Maker Day 28 - Packaged All of my packaging is handmade and recyclable ♻️ My mother in law makes the pouches for me, I screenprint them, the paper strips and the thank you cards. I’ve looked into embossed boxes and printed cards but the feedback I get about my packaging is so positive that I can’t see me stopping anytime soon. I’m very precious about the pieces I make, so I like to send them out in a way that shows this It’d be so helpful to know if how an item is sent matters to you I’d really appreciate your thoughts x

Support is today’s prompt and I’m lucky enough to have THE most amazingly supportive little team at home. They might not get involved in any of the actual making, but @_joe_art is the best for discussing ideas with and can be relied upon for honest feedback. His twin brother is pretty good with words, so he’s my go to for proofreading. And then there’s my lovely husband - he took my sketches scribbled on the back of an envelope and turned them into a fully functioning website, then when I couldn’t find frames deep enough to house my new paper sculptures, he made me some absolutely gorgeous ones, as pictured. Day 30 - Support I feel very lucky to say that support comes in many forms and from many different directions ❤️ • - AMAZING friends and family who are always there, cheering and hollering on the sidelines with enthusiastic encouragement, big loving hugs and wise words of advice. • - FELLOW MAKERS & ARTIST friends - it’s SO important to be surrounded by people who ‘get it’ and who understand/can empathise with the highs and lows that come with running a small business. Sharing knowledge and learning from others’ experiences within the creative community is so important. • - YOU! Seriously, without YOU, your follows, likes, comments and, above all, your orders, Poosac simply wouldn’t be able to grow and thrive. The @justacard campaign which so brilliantly reminds us that ‘every time you buy from a small business an actual person dies a happy dance’ really is true! #inuse /wild Jurassic tiles in shower room / bathroom my Mum and Dad's house!! It is so lovely to see them up on the wall!!! I have posted so many tile panels around the world and it so rare to see a photo of them on the wall!! Very happy with these!!! (The grout will lighten to match the other grout when fully dried!!) March has been a really fun month. I released two new cushion and blanket patterns (#lightningstripes and #tumblingstripes ), added some tassels to my #rainbowblanketcal , took part in quite a few days of #marchmeetthemaker2019 , made some coasters with the first few rounds of the #margueritemotif from #mobiusgirldesign , and have been working hard on a brand new blanket design (still to be named!). It’s nearly finished now and hopefully the pattern should be ready to be released later this month. I also wanted to say a big welcome and hello to all my new followers that have started following me recently, and a massive thank you for all the love and support that you lovely people of Instagram have shown my work this month. I’ve been utterly overwhelmed by it all! So THANK YOU to every single one of you!
