I had chores planned for last night but it was so hot we went out for dinner and I came home took a cold shower, hugged the electric fan and watched MasterChef. Hoping it’s a cooler night sleep tonight. But what I REALLY wish for is centralized air conditioning.

I’m married to the most amazing man and my best friend, who supports everything I do, including this crazy hobby of mine! . . 2. I am a foster mom to one sweet boy right now, but since we got licensed in January of 2019, we have had 10 kids come in and out of our home! It has been an adventure! . . 3. I’m currently pregnant with my rainbow baby. We lost one to miscarriage in February of 2018. . . 4. My daughter who is growing inside me will be named Rose Elaina. Rose is from the Bible is Isaiah chapter 35 where it talks about the desert blooming like a . Our prayer is that she will bloom in others lives as she did for us being our miracle baby. Elaina means light and we also pray she will be a light to those around her! . . 5. I am a Chrisitan and I couldn’t do this thing called life without the Grace of God each day! He is definitely a rock in my life and walked me though so much! . . 6. I have been using The Happy Planner since March of 2016 and I’m so glad I found it as an outlet for depression and anxiety as well as a way to express myself creatively. . . 7. I currently work at a juvenile corrections facility and it’s such a challenging yet rewarding job! . . 8. I live in Colorado and am 23 years old. . . 9. In my free time I like to take walks, create, or nap! . . 10. This is my happy wall, which is ALL filled up from 115 @the_happy_planner value pack sticker books (and 2 didn’t fit) so I’m sad this will have to be taken down for a couple reasons. This is one of my favorite pages that I’ve created for my planner. I love to read! I use to read ALL the time, but I don’t have as much time for it anymore. So for 2019, I set a goal to read 5 books a month for the entire year. This book tracker has kept me on track! When I finish reading a book, I add it to the list and highlight it. When I have met my goal for the month, I highlight the top row that says “reading list”. I’m proud to say I’ve read 28 books this year! - - I have found that making a tracker for my goals is the best way to keep me motivated and working toward said goal. Happy Summer to everyone! I’ve made it through another year of teaching and with that some challenges that also came my way. Sometimes it’s not always easy for me to pick myself up again and when I do, I sometimes lose my way. That’s okay because it’s only a matter of time until I find myself again.
