But as mama bear "we know our babies best".. There's no fooling me!! For now I will take it as an isolated incident..Hopefully with the added measures of adding yet another piece of equipment to our respiratory treatment it's an investment to a safer Airway... * Cross your fingers the insurance company doesn't wake up on the wrong side of the bed and give us issues approving this equipment... I have been a little absent from my Insta feed lately (and I have missed everyone so much) as I grew quite unwell on Saturday and ended up requiring surgery. My body is, by far, not the most reliable as I have had more than one chronic illness to deal with over the last couple of years but if the last couple of days has taught me anything it is that I am so grateful to have a body that has gotten me as far as it has, and that continues to heal itself over and over, again and again. Somehow avoiding illness (knocking on wood) has open the doors to more activities/therapy like the Stander..Which I have mentioned in the past, it offers a great deal of benefits to a Non-mobile child..I'm so excited to actually see more of Aerilyn "waking up to the world" (if that makes any sense) to see her taking in her surroundings and to give us the appropriate reactions we look for..The surgery for tubes in her ears should actually take the credit for this turning point..unveiling the curtain to more abilities!
