3rd day of #tmmomchallenge hosted by @yooniquelife this time I've tried Mediheal Vite Lightbeam Essential Mask Ex. The topic for day 3 is a teacher - brightening mask. The teacher is a very important role in our life since without teachers the majority of us wouldn't be able to spell Otorhinolaryngologist correctly. Obviously, some teachers are bitches like deputy head of my high school, I had a conversation about depression not being an illness with her, I had the best argument you can have aka WHO ICD-10. Depression is an illness and that's regulated so if the teacher says the other way - give them a link to Wikipedia or a number to a psychiatrist. Back to Mediheal - this mask has a strange fit since it has a part of the material to keep the v-line tight - still I believe that bandage masks are better for v-line. It's not a bad fit, the scent reminds me of a hairdryer or wet sterilized towel while I was expecting lemon or orange scent because this mask contains Vitamin C. It contains Glycerin, Panthenol, Betaine, Beta glucan and Allantoin - all the hydrating and soothing ingredients but also Salix Alba Bark Extract aka Willow Extract recommended for acne-prone skin, Niacinamide - a multitool for your skincare that brightens the skin but also works on wrinkles, moisture, and had other uses in skincare. Vitamin C is hidden under the name Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, there's also hydrolized collagen. Don't suspect that collagen does a lot to your skin - it usually makes a film on the skin since the size of collagen is too big to get deeper, but Vitamin C is helpful in this combination also - Vitamin C boosts the collagen production. This mask didn't make my skin super bright or moist but it's also not bad, I would say it's 3 out of 5 stars. Sunscreen ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #1Empty1Newbie ✌ #IneoShellSaysNoToPIH ❌ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #Rohto #Mentholatum #Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Essence ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is the 2014 reformulation; percentage still isn’t known, but this has Vitamins C and E derivatives: ~ Ascorbic Acid/L-ascorbic acid/LAA: a proven antioxidant; known to brighten and even out skin tone ~ Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate: the newest form of Vit C that is oil-soluble meaning it is easily absorbed into the skin ~ Tocopheryl acetate: provides moisture and promotes skin healing (anti-aging); keeps ingredients from going rancid ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This comes in a silver squeeze tube packaging with a yellow cap. I was initially bummed there’s only 20 mL of essence that my first month on my first tube was spent on just spot-applying on PIH. Then it felt like it was a bottomless pit because I don’t seem to run out of my precious citrus-smelling essence, so I started applying six drops on my whole face and two on my neck. That first tube lasted me six months (3-4x/week of usage). Here’s the thing: It surprised me every single use as I was expecting it to oxidize; but no, the last drop looked just the same as it was since day 1: clear with a very, very, very slight yellow tinge to it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This has an oily feel to it, and has a sheen when applied—also feels a little warm initially—on the skin, but dries down matte. I apply this as an acid, after cleansing (sometimes after a pH-adjusting toner), and wait 10 minutes—or at least until it is fully absorbed—before continuing with the rest of my morning routine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Another thing: This isn’t for impatient people. You won’t see immediate results as this takes a while to work its magic, but oh boy does it work! My PIH takes monthssss to fade (we’re talking of about eight months; my skin is slow like that), but this has helped speed up the process by cutting the fading time in half.
