Я уже давно перестала спорить о том, что такое настоящие парфюмы. Потому что кто-то носит и Bat Зоологистов, а кто-то любит мшистые камни с палеными ветиверами, как я. И еще непонятно, кто, в глазах людей-непарфманьяков, предпочитающих безопасную парфюмерную территорию, будет выглядеть более и̶п̶а̶н̶у̶т̶ы̶м̶ своеобразным. Первая встреча с Кафе Ристретто Интенс была тяжкой. Я нанесла его на блоттер, заскрипела, сплюнула, ̶у̶в̶и̶д̶е̶л̶а̶ ̶в̶т̶о̶р̶о̶е̶ ̶п̶р̶и̶ш̶е̶с̶т̶в̶и̶е̶ ̶Б̶а̶к̶к̶а̶р̶ы̶ и села писать едкую рецензию о аромате американской кофейни, через который просвечивали размокшие слипшиеся розовые то ли цветы, то ли ягоды, то ли трехголовое розовое чудовище. Пляска кофе в блендере с химерой длилась минут 15. Потом я опять приложилась к блоттеру. И, призадумавшись, 1/3 текста стерла и нанесла аромат уже нормально, на кожу. Не буду делать рекламно-восторженное блогерское лицо - Монталь не мой бренд и никогда и не будет. Личный Монталь, впрочем, делится на Терпимо и Смойтеэтонемедленно (ну и что скрывать, есть 3 нежно любимых аромата с самой зари моего парфувлечения + мой личный guilty pleasure в виде Мукалата) . Ristretto Intense Cafe, за вычетом старта - это скорее Терпимо. Я бы вообще нафиг стерла эту фонящую ягодно-цветочную ноту, сконцентрировавшись на кофе и амбре, ну или хотя бы огранила всю разлюли-малину каким-нибудь перцем или кардамоном. Но Монталь - это всегда вашим-и-нашим. Поэтому цветоягодные пузыри в таких ароматах будут присутствовать всегда. В + Кофе поставлю, что после короткого истеричного вскрика он перестает быть слипшейся массой и вполне себе расчленяется на отдельные составляющие. Есть кофе из Старбакса - а есть из римской Золотой Чашки.  Есть кофе, утопленное в сиропах - или чистый аромат смолотых зерен. И то, и то вкусно. Но что-то настоящее, а что-то прячется за пеленой вкусозаменителей. А дальше уже каждый решает сам, насколько интенсивным и настоящим должно быть звучание. RIC - это Старбакс, кофе в сиропе, морковный пирог, заполняющий желудок до ушей, и его величество амбродеревяшки в базе. Уверена, что поклонников у аромата будет много. Это безопасная территория, за которую сегодняшний Монталь не суется. #ypg_esxence2019

I so enjoyed wearing Montale Santal Wood yesterday, that today I decided to go with another one of their scents that also has Sandalwood as a key note: MONTALE DARK AOUD. ⁣ ⁣ My colleague and partner in crime, Sandra Gonzalez ( also known as @montalefragrancesblm59th ), surprised me and gave me a bottle of this delightful fragrance for Christmas. Being the consummate and knowledgeable professional that she is, she paid attention to what I said my fragrance tastes were and chose MONTALE DARK AOUD as something I would like, and she was absolutely right.⁣ ⁣ Despite what the name implies, MONTALE DARK AOUD isn’t a heavy overpowering scent. Instead it’s more middle of the road. It’s warm and inviting with an almost sparkling feel to it without being intrusive. To my perception, it also changes dramatically as it dries down. It’s almost as if MONTALE DARK AUOD were three different fragrances in one. ⁣ ⁣ MONTALE DARK AOUD starts off smelling fairly reminiscent of Santal Wood, which I wore yesterday, except with a brighter feel to it. As it starts to reach its heart, the Leather note starts to show through, almost as though Montale Aoud Leather decided to stop by for a visit. When the fragrance reaches its dry down, it takes a sweeter, more sensual tone as the Ambergris takes center stage, reminding me a bit of JusBox Cheeky Smile. ⁣ ⁣ MONTALE DARK AOUD is a roller coaster of a fragrance that constantly surprises and delights throughout the day. It’s still a bit cool here in NYC, so I decided to go with something a bit warmer: MONTALE AOUD LEATHER. ⁣ ⁣ MONTALE AOUD LEATHER, like the name implies, is a predominantly Leather based scent. Thanks to the addition of a sheared, softer Oud, the fragrance isn’t overwhelming and comes across drier in tone than most other Leather based fragrances. ⁣ ⁣ Like Montale Sweet Vanilla, AOUD LEATHER also appears to be linear in design. Meaning it doesn’t change significantly in the dry down. What you smell when it’s first sprayed is pretty much what you get. So if you like it at first, you’ll probably like it at last. ⁣ ⁣ Although the majority of Montale fragrances are “shared”, AOUD LEATHER does skew more on the masculine side. I’ve had a bit of a sweet tooth since yesterday, so I decided to go with something gourmand today: MONTALE SWEET VANILLA. ⁣ ⁣ MONTALE SWEET VANILLA is a wonderfully intoxicating blend of Vanilla, Apricot and White Musk. The result is an intense and somewhat powdery scent. ⁣ ⁣ Though I’m not 100% certain, the fragrance comes across as being linear in design, meaning it doesn’t seem to have a top, middle or base. Instead, the scent seems to remain the same all the way through its wearing, although it does get softer and a touch less sweet.
