Happy Saturday Frag Family. Yesterday I gave @thooperfume Cypress Shade a full wearing, and I realized two things. The first, I enjoyed the scent, and second, how different a fragrance can smell when worn alone and in a full wearing. Cypress Shade was sent to by @thooperfume for my review along with samples of others in their house. Admittedly, Cypress Shade wasn't one of my favorites when compared to some of their other offerings. This is a dilemma I face when exploring a perfume house. I wish there were time to wear each fragrance separately. Rockin some EDP today @Dior parfums Sauvage.. This is a fragrance that also receives hate from frag comm. FOR BEING SUCCESSFUL I like the edp, is it my favorite fragrance around? No, not by a long shot but it’s a proven fragrance dna that most people love! Idole EDP (Lubin) I remember that the first time I tried Idole I was fascinated. I've always liked boozy perfumes, I'd say a lot. But Idole is completely special. This EDP version opens with one of the best rum notes I know, adorned with citrus nuances and with some background spices that grow as their development progresses. Notes of wood and saffron are incorporated in the second phase, giving to the heart of this perfume a greater consistency. In the last phase, almost as good as the first, I highlight the combination of labdanum and leather. Definitely one of my favorite boozy fragrances, and from my humble opinion should be tried by every lover of this type of perfume. Have you tried Idole EDP from Lubin?
