There’s just been no time to pick up my camera it seems! Or to get into creative mode. The weather continues to be chilly and there’s still no leaves on the trees. April and May have felt dismal at times. Through all the heartache that has been present lately in our life, we have had beautiful moments as well. I’m elated to say we’ve sold our house and are moving to our happy place on Vancouver Island! We’ve dreamt of this sooo long, it sometimes still doesn’t feel real. Sharing another petalesque moment for #petalplay_springtime.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I mentioned on Stories today that I’d seen the Save to Collection button being used in some interesting ways and wanted to highlight them here in case anyone found them useful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Most people use it to create inspiration boards which is mostly how I use it too. But I’ve also heard of it being used to:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - keep track of accounts you want to engage with, but who aren’t showing up in your feed (tip from @winnettes from a comment on my post the other day)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - keep track of things you want to do - giveaways you want to enter (as well as conditions, closing dates, announcement dates etc), challenges you want to participate in etc.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - create lists of accounts in different areas - so if you want to go on a cookery/interiors/parenting/travel/books account spree, you can⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - keep track of follow-to-unfollow accounts (tip from a FB group). Мне вот интересно, почему практически всЕЕЕЕ так резко начали бросать сахар?! Куда не гляну, все его обходят стороной... откуда очередная мода?! Делаю ставку на фильм «Сахар» и блогеров . P.S. Да, чрезмерное употребление сладкого ни к чему хорошему не приведёт, но, мое мнение... Если его употреблять не тоннами и по мере возможности делать физические нагрузки (короче знать меру), можно тоже не менее хорошо себя чувствовать, вообщем ничего плохого не случится. Это вам говорит человек у которого просто нет силы воли чтобы отказаться, особенно когда ты живешь в Италии‍♀️ хотя могу сказать, у меня и нет такой сильной тяги к «гормону счастья», просто говорю, что не откажусь❤️ . Do your tomorrow-self a favor and prep this beet and strawberry overnight oats right now. You won’t be disappointed! . Been talking a lot about balance the last fews weeks and prepping meals is another huge way to help life be less hectic. Before working from home I used to prep overnight oats for the entire week! It’s so easy to change up the flavors by adding different powers, nut butters, and toppings. This jar is packed with probiotic kefir yogurt, cranberry granola, beet powder, my strawberry chia seed jam, and topped with @getskinnydipped (#sponsored) raspberry chocolate covered almonds. There’s definitely noting boring about this jar of oats! . Beet and strawberry overnight oats: * 1/3 cup oats * 2/3 cup plain kefir yogurt (or greek yogurt) * 1/2 tsp cinnamon * 1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk * 1 tsp manuka honey * 1 tbsp chia seeds * 1 1/2 tsp beet powder * 2 tbsps homemade strawberry chia seed jam * 2 tbsps @getskinnydipped raspberry chocolate covered almonds * 2 tbsp cranberry granola (or more raspberry chocolate almonds) . Directions: * Combine oats, kefir, nut milk, cinnamon, chia seeds, honey, and beet powder in a mason jar and stir or shake with the lid on top. Once fully combined, gently mix in strawberry chia seed jam (recipe on my highlights), cover, and refrigerate overnight. * In the morning place the granola (or more raspberry almonds) in the bottom of a clean mason jar/bowl, cover with overnight oats, and top with @getskinnydipped raspberry chocolate covered almonds. If you don’t want to use another jar, simply put the granola and almonds right on top or mix everything in the night before for a grab-n-go situation. ‍♀️ . Have you made overnight oats before?
