I love this car. It was my first car on my own and first car I ever modified, learning a lot on the way. Every time I get in it I just have a huge smile on my face. The 4 cylinder turbo makes driving around town a blast. It’s such a attention grabber, it’s unique design, the modifications I’ve done and 3 doors. Whether I’m at a car meet or car shows it always catches people’s attention and creates a conversation. People always come up to me and talk about the car, ask questions, and get their mind blown when I tell them it’s a 3 door. Ive been told “you’re the reason why I’ve gotten a veloster” or “your veloster is goals” a lot more often than I would of ever thought and it makes me feel truly amazing every time. The veloster community is huge and I feel honored to be such a big influence on so many people out there. I’ve made a ton of friends all over the US because of this car. I’ve had friends and fellow veloster owners come from Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and Tennessee just to see the car and hang out for just a couple of hours. I’ve even given them rides in my car, a car that’s basically the same as theirs just because it’s my car. Best memory is probably driving my car to Tennessee to meet with @velosternation owners, then driving to Florida and having a veloster meet hosted with over 20 velosters. There’s more to a car than what meets the eye and I believe it’s the details that make up for it. Hyundai has truly paid attention to detail and I believe that’s why this car is so bold and brilliantly designed. From the intricate designs of the head & taillights, to the sharp angles on the body of the car that really pull together this unique build. For me I loved that this car was a hatch and how the 3rd door was designed as a “secret door” (as the kids like to tell me) because of the hidden doorknob that gives it that sleek design. And how the interior isn’t only spacious for the driver, but the modern design really helps give you that comfortable yet exciting driving experience. Owning my veloster has been such a great journey for me. From learning how to drive a manual in it, to learning how to change the oil. She was such an eye-catcher to me when she was stock and she is so unique now with everything I’ve done to her. I’ve met so many cool people through this car, near and far, and my veloster has introduced me to such an awesome and supportive community as well!
