' : ' ' !⁣ Where do I even start when it comes to Chuuya Nakahara? He has got to be one of my favorite characters of all time. I love every single part of his character from every single era. He has overcome so much and dealt with so many real, personal struggles. Everyone struggle to find who they really are and he went the first 8 years of his life without knowing who he was or where he came from. And yet does he let that stop him from moving forward in life? No. That's one thing I love about him. He keeps his past in the past. He doesn't let his past struggles get the best of him, he moves forward. He's sure of himself. And he didn't let the betrayal of the sheep stop him from having relationships with others. His family-like relationship with Kouyou, his partnership with Dazai (whether you choose to see it as a ship or not isn't important), and his loyalty to Mori. He is loyal to a fault and would do anything to protect any of the people that are important to him. He is powerful and he knows It, but he uses his power well. He could easily have become some arrogant asshole who doesn't care for anyone around him and just wants to climb higher on the ladder. But no. He takes pride in his job, in his skills and the life he has now. ily ❥ even though he’s from the mafia; he never does anything more than necessary, he never kills someone who doesnt need to be killed, he just does his job and its over, what he needs is done. being a mafioso but still respecting everyone and playing it fair, this is why i look upto him so much. even though he had so many questions about his past, a bunch of blank pages of 7 whole years and constantly questioning himself; he’s still the chuuya he always has been, he never gives up, he never shows these feelings. i love his perspective on the “hands in the pockets through the battle” thing. he likes to enjoy the battle because its what he does, its what he has been doing for years now but he put a limit to himself, where he would stop playing around and realise the battle is serious and this explains how well he knows himself even though he cant realise it. also removing his gloves before using corruption like !! how hotter can you be are you intentionally doing this also props to rimbaud for spilling the tea! i really appreciate what he said to chuuya and i hope chuuya acknowledged every single word in those sentences because they are fucking valid. sometimes i just want to hug him because i feel like dazai goes too far with his “joking around”. we never know if chuuya is genuinely annoyed or not but im sure there are times that he is so:(( i just want to h*ld his h*nd and tell him that i l*ve him so much. he did not deserve to be treated like this by the sheep that was so nasti like ohmygod my baby!! deserves!! better!! he really worked his ass off for the sheep, because they were all children and were weak; he had to be there for them, he had to protect them. he never did them wrong and what he got was (literally) getting backstabbed and the hatred of the whole sheep and a bunch of ugli people called gss trying to kill him. i cant imagine how terrible he must’ve felt and he still blamed his own leadership skills for it. he was and is an amazing leader and we all know he’ll surely be the next boss. even asagiri and harukawa said this: they put so much effort in while making chuuya and this is why he deserves the attention he gets. love you 3000 <3
