Q A S I L C O N D I T I O N E R ‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Qasil comes from the 'Gob' tree which is native to Somalia. The leaf powder is commonly used amongst Somali women as a cleansing/face mask. It has also been used on the hair weekly to condition to combat dandruff. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So of course, I used it on my face and decided to use it on my hair too to condition after a shampoo wash and the results were amazing. I'm still researching benefits so I will keep you updated on progress. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Products used; 2 tbsp Qasil powder 200 ml water (to make oat milk) 2 tbsp honey 3 tbsp oats (to make oat milk) I later added 2 tsp of olive oil (this is not in the video) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tip: You can leave the oats to soak anywhere between 30 mins to 12 hours. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Benefits of oat milk: prevent hair loss and treat dandruff, the polyunsaturated fatty acids aka omega-6 fatty acids also help to fix damaged hair. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Benefits of honey: a natural humectant meaning it takes moisture from the air and seals it into your hair and skin, shine, antibacterial so can help with eczema and dandruff. It also contains the enzyme, glucose oxidase and when left on your hair for a long period of time slowly release hydrogen peroxide which naturally lightens the hair. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I bought my Qasil from @hudaorganics because I like trying new things.
