3 days postpartum and I have never been more proud of this body ❤️ . This body grew this tiny baby boy. This body birthed this baby boy with no drugs and 3 pushes. This body is now supplying all the nourishment this little man needs. . This body may be a little more jiggly than it was before but it makes the perfect cuddle spot for William as his nurses. . And this body may be weaker than it was pre-pregnancy but I feel unstoppable after a life changing labor . I prayed so long for each extra pound, roll, and incredible moment this little man has brought into our lives and these last 3 days have exceeded every expectation I had. . Mamas, it is all worth it! Geburtsbericht Teil3 *unbezahlte Werbung Die Hebamme Karola hat uns sehr nett gegen 1.20 Uhr empfangen. Leider teilte sie uns gleich mit, dass wir wahrscheinlich vorerst auf Station müssen. Im Kreißsaal war 'hörbar' einiges los. Vorher sollte jedoch die Oberärztin nach dem Baby schauen. Sie machte ein Ultraschall , bei dem ich auf dem Rücken liegen sollte. Schon mal bei Wehen auf dem Rücken gelegen? Gibt definitiv schöneres. Die Ärztin war so wundervoll mitfühlend und hat uns sämtliche Ängste genommen. Auch die Sorge, dass die Geburt nicht zu schaffen ist, denn sie hat unseren kleinen Schatz noch mal ausgemessen und kam auf ein wohlfühlgewicht von 3600 Gramm. (Soviel zum Thema "Ärzte und ihre Messungen") Für mich eine riesen Erleichterung, da er ja die letzten Wochen auf 4kg geschätzt wurde. Mein Gedanke: Das sollte doch schaffbar sein. Während des Ultraschalls hatte ich 4 kurz aufeinander vollgende kräftige Wehen. Ich machte mich schon seelisch dazu bereit, die nächsten Stunden über den Stationsflur zu wandern, als es hieß, dass wir doch direkt in den Kreißsaal gehen. Das ging jetzt aber ziemlich flott. Etwas überrumpelt aber glücklich, folgten wir mit einigen Wehenpausen der Hebamme. Sven durfte es sich auf dem Kreißsaalbett gemütlich machen, während ich ein reguläres Bett erhielt. Der Muttermund war zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht geöffnet. Das heißt man hat noch einen langen Weg vor sich. Gegen 03.30 Uhr waren die Schmerzen schon ziemlich fies, so dass ich fragte, ob ich etwas dagegen haben könnte. Ich bekam eine Infusion, die ich definitiv nicht nochmal nehmen würde. Die Schmerzen blieben leider unverändert. Dafür hatte ich so eine starke Übelkeit (Mein Freund die Brechtüte blieb aber sauber). Teufelszeug. Irgendwann kam die Hebamme rein, um zu fragen, wie wir eigentlich zu einer PDA stehen. Zuhause war ich mir immer sicher, keine zu wollen, doch in dem Moment, war ich absolut nicht mehr abgeneigt. Sie sagte jedoch gleich, dass es jetzt aber noch zu früh dafür sei und schaute in Ruhe nach dem Muttermund. Dieser war nun 3 cm geöffnet und sie änderte ihre Meinung prompt mit den Worten... . ...Weiter in den Kommentaren

In a way it was kinda perfect they were so tiny because Justin had the strength to carry them. I think this is the first time he held both at the same time! I was in the hospital for almost a week. Justin was able to come visit once a day. . . There were a couple times we were able to be alone with both the kids. It didn’t happen often because the c-section kept me from walking. Justin was still pretty weak and couldn’t do much on his own ether. But those small moments were everything to me and sometimes I try to remember how it felt. We tried to forget for a small moment the reality of our situation and just love on these handsome boys we created together! Experience what it was like to be a family and new parents. How I wish so badly he was here and we could still have those moments I’m so glad I have this picture! ❤️
