I decided to post something different today and give you a little insight into other parts of my life...because let’s be real, I love posting about adventures in the beautiful outdoors but really that’s only 25% of my life...the other 75% involves putting in the hard work to get to those beautiful places. . So here’s a sneak peak at what a day’s worth of food looks like as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. These are the base ingredients for how I try to eat 80-90% of the time - a diet focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods. The rest of the time, I’m a little looser with my food choices because I’m human and well there’s things called ice cream and tequila ‍♀️ . I try to get as many colors in my day as possible because color variety = nutrient variety. I always have some sort of animal protein because high quality meat is extremely beneficial to one’s health. I also always make sure to have an ample amount of healthy fat (olive oil, avocado oil, butter, animal fat, etc). . It’s plain, simple, and helps me fuel my body the right way...so I can enjoy those outdoor adventures the way I want to
